Job Summary: As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients. The focus of this position is working with and through others, building and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within established guidelines. There is a need for an effective communicator, someone who is able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns. There will be many different people to meet and work with. The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of others, including the company, its management, the team, the company's customers, or all of the above.

A persuasive teaching style of communication is required to communicate the company's policies, programs, and systems. A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently. This portion of the work will often focus on relationships with others; correct handling of details and dealing with others is necessary to maintain and grow relationships. If the job involves managing others, following up carefully, closely, and cheerfully is required to ensure both correct work and maintenance of the relationships. Necessary corrections must be made in a constructive, supportive manner. As time is usually a factor, the work must be done on time, as well as correctly. In general, this is a position where guidelines, structure, and established policies must be followed fairly closely, while working with and for others. Experience in the healthcare services industry is a bonus.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to think big while never losing sight of the details. Must crave structure and organization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients, acting as the main point of contact. Clearly define scope of campaigns and projects while being able to articulate same to clients and creative teams.
  • Lead clients and co-workers through planning sessions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions on time and on budget, based on client needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Proven track record demonstrating the ability to build and grow client relationships with a persuasive “selling” communication style rather than “telling.”
  • Manage contracts, renewals, and negotiations to ensure a positive and mutually beneficial relationship.
  • Effective communicator, able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs
  • Resolve client issues and challenges promptly, escalating to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Partner with Creative and Strategy teams to meet strategic objectives. Provide insights and recommendations derived from campaign/project results to clients
  • Strong, friendly follow-up needed on tasks delegated to ensure proper results when working with and through others
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our services remain competitive and relevant.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years building great client relationships and producing outstanding work
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driven, team player able to focus on details; never satisfied with “good,” always striving for “great.”
  • Experience in digital strategy and integrated marketing/advertising agencies.
  • Able to work hybrid/onsite, 3 days in office and 2 days work from home
